How many times as business women are we called bitches – pardon my language, simply because we are getting things done, head strong in achieving our goals. I feel that way often. Have you ever been called a bitch, simply because you were getting things done ?

In my bussisness, which is mostly men, I get that all the time! Once they realize they can not talk down to me, bully me, or treat me like some “sweet little thing, that knows nothing!” than I’m a bitch! I even had a guy mumble that as he walked off, I of course said excuse me!? He said I didn’t say anything…he’s now having to work with one of my competitors,did he really think I’d still be willing to work with him!? Why I wonder do some men feel so threatend by a woman who knows her job?
Carolyn, I know exactly how you feel about that. In my business it is mostly men as well. I am glad that guy at your work place got what was coming to him, what a prick. I wonder too, why some men feel threatened by a woman who knows her job? Sometimes I am not sure if it is a threat or something else. Anyway, I hope you get satisfaction in knowing that they are most likely saying these things to you because you are doing a great job.
