I would like to win the music prize pack because I am the ultimate music junkie. What does that mean? Music has been a huge part of my life. It is my best friend. Music has always been there for me. In times I wanted to escape. In times of joy. In times of achievement. In times of life challenges and heartbreak. I could listen to music all day everyday. I promise to play each cd on a regular basis with lots of TLC…:)

I vicariously live through music. music has carried me through some of the toughest times in my life and it continues to do so. i dont just listen to music, i feel it…literally. call me a suck i dont care, but im the kind of person that cries when i hear a powerful voice or witness the grace of dance. i dont judge music by its genre, i will listen to just about ANYTHING! as long as it speaks to me in some way. I appreciate everything music has to offer and am so incredibly grateful for the comfort it has brought to me. music has literally saved my life. amazing how the right song can speak to you at just the right time =)

I think I should win the music prize pack because my iPod is in need of an update! Sure I’ve been bumping BP3 for weeks now but beyond that my music collection has been on the stale side. A girl can only take the shame of bringing up Spice Girls in conversation so many times and being laughed at. Sigh.

Plus I can totally picture the dance parties that I’ll have bopping around to some Rih Rih and Lady Gaga. I can update my Bon Jovi love from “Living on a Prayer” to something more contemporary and I can finally understand what all the 14 year-olds have been screeching about when they talk about Justin Bieber. Oh, and Angie Stone is overall awesome and I’ve been waiting for her to drop another album.

I should win because while I am a huge music fan, I was just laid off in September and right now I’m so broke I can’t pay attention, much less buy CDs.
