Yesterday in Ottaway  Governor General Michaelle Jean addressed Canada on the situation in Haiti. She herself is of Haitian decent and addressed the country in a very moving and emotional state. Watching the video clip made me cry, as I saw the pain that she felt having been born in Haiti and raised. I am glad to know that she will do everything in her power to help and assist Haiti in its rebuilding process. You can view the video here.

I am not as focused on the blog for the next few days, I am trying to be there for my friends who are going through a difficult time. As well, helping to promote a benefit fundraiser in Toronto for Haiti. I will post the details once I receive the flyer.
