“I just want to finish on a good note.” -Joannie Rochette

Watching her skate last week, less then two days after her mother passed away showed me how strong and dedicated she was to persevere and perform in front of the world, during such a difficult time for her. It made me think, how many times are we ready to give up because of a difficult moment? I know I am guilty of that. Those are the moments where we should continue through the pain. We have much more to gain from not stopping in the face of adversity.
