I joined the fan page on FB for this book titled Bitches on a Budget. (JOIN THE FAN PAGE HERE) I was really intrigued by the title of the book, and what it was all about. I did some digging, read their FB page, read the description of the book and checked out the blog, can I say that I LOVE THE MESSAGE ! I love that they are showing modern women how to stay fab and on a budget, without comprimising too much of what they want. We all love to splurge on that nice purse, those nice shoes, vacations. I do it all the time, the older I get, the more I think of whether or not that was really at all necessary at the frequency that I do it. Bitches on a Budget shows you other alternatives to staying, chic, stylish and having fun while staying on a budget. GREAT , I need to pick this up and see what its all about.
You should also find out more about the author Rosalyn Hoffman who amongst many amazing things, writes for the Huffington Post regularly.
I saw this posted on their blog and I thought it was really clever
“Being a “bitch” means having fun, knowing what you want, not settling for second best. It means being savvy. Smart. In control. In other words it’s a way of living—NOT a way of treating others. Be a bitch without being bitchy. Be generous and share your money-saving tips with the rest of us.”
