I have never been someone who goes for jogs, but I have always admired the discipline of people who jog daily. I thought it would be a good habit to add to my life, to replace some bad habits.  Running and jogging offer many benefits, which is why I think it would be a positive reinforcement in my life, here are some of the benefits I read about here. I went into Nike and fell in love with these runners, not just because of the colors but because of they way they feel. The other runners I had for working out were a bit heavier, and I didn’t think they offered me the right support for jogging. These Nike Free Run are amazing, because they feel like you are running bare feet and they are super light. They offer amazing support and to top it off, I love the fact that they feel like socks.  The whole shoe only weights 6.4 ounces.

Any who, moving along… Jogging is one of the new habits  I am trying to break into and introduce to my daily lifestyle. As much as I was pumped to put on these runners and hit the ground running, I became overwhelmed at where to start. I checked out the Nike site and they have this cool program called Nike + Coach that gives you tips on running, whether you are training for a distance, just running or training for a sport.

I am going to start the start running program, its a 12 week program that breaks you into running smoothly within 12 weeks. Here is the program that I am doing here. They have other ones you can take a look at, depending on what level you want to get into. I probably won’t start til this weekend, but I will keep you posted on my progress.

What I am the most excited about are the playlists they have on the site for running, check them out here. Maybe I will make my own to share with you also. Do you run? What is your running routine?
