I need you… I need you in a way that you probably can’t fathom, not in a desperate way, not in a can’t live without you kind of way. I need you to take your place in my life, the place I waited for you to take for so long. You’re there and I am here, granted. In the meantime do you know that I still want you? Do you know that sometimes I get lonely and want someone to sleep beside me, just to feel warmth? Do you know that sometimes I want you near?  I need you to be the one to hold me when I am sad, I need you to be the one to kiss me on my forehead to tell me its going to be ok. I need you to be the one to hold me at night when I can’t sleep, or when I have nightmares. I need you to look at me with that look that says I am the most beautiful woman to you.

I.Need.You. For all these things and more, I can’t wait for you to take your place, the place I have been keeping warm for so long. There are times when I need to fill that void, when others temporarily take your place, but I don’t want that anymore. I want you to have your place back, and no one else but you. I don’t need you to call me every second of the day, I don’t need you to tell me that you love me all day long. I don’t need you to make me promises. I don’t need you to do anything but stay close, and be the only one to shower me with love.
