We often hear the phrase “laughter is the best medicine” so true!… and I also find that smiling brings about a warmth and beauty to the face that can’t be matched by any form of artificial enhancement… That said, I always recommend a daily dose of humour to anyone’s daily routine! :D   On the other hand, although laughter is our favourite form of expression, we can’t avoid the inevitable fact that it contributes to those dreaded lines on our outer eye corners…;/

Not to worry though, just practice applying a pinch of eye cream each day and you may just soften & delay these uncoveted lines ;)

Here are some other causes of crow’s feet and how to combat them… What is your eye care routine? What products do you use? I want to know, leave me a comment !

1) UVA/UVB Damage – wear mineral based SPF coverage such as la bella donna liquid mineral concealer

2) Excess Squinting – avoid by wearing sunglasses when out during the day (even when it’s overcast)

get prescription glasses/contacts if you’re squinting is due to poor eyesight

Other common & unsightly eye issues and how to avoid -or- treat them @ home

1) Puffiness – Sleep with your head slightly elevated to allow fluids to drain rather than gather overnight

Use a cold teaspoon, cucumbers or tea bags under the eyes to shrink swelling in the morning

2) Dark circles – Hide them with an under eye concealer (just a tinch) lighter than your skin tone, go over with a hint of foundation that     matches exactly & set w/ loose powder

Choose a yellowish concealer to cover up redness or purple veins & a salmon or peachy concealer to hide bluish hues and under tones
