Last week I had the pleasure of receiving a package from Matchstick to review some boots for the “Cougar Experience”. I am a sucker for nice packages and this one is no different. It came with 2 pairs of boots (1 pair of rain boots, 1 pair of winter boots) 1 mug, 1sweater and even hot chocolate. I remember my father buying me cougar boots back in the day, I haven’t seen them around in a while and I think this is a great effort to reposition the brand. I like a lot of their new designs. The boots above are the Tibet rain boots , they retail for about $79 CDN and I really enjoyed wearing them. They are my first rain boot. They are very warm, and to top it off, they have this built in sock that prevents the wind from going into your boots. I wasn’t sure about the color red at first, but wearing them on the subway today, everyone was looking at them.

The second pair of boots I had to review are called Ravishing (retail approx $175) while its not snowing yet, I haven’t had a chance to wear these out. However they feel really soft and warm on the inside, and look like a sure bet to keep your toes and feet warm in the cold snowy winter days.
