I like the simple things in life, and I wish I focused more on them. I love messages throughout my day that bring a smile on my face. I love doing things that bring a smile to other people’s faces. I like to dream, so what if some say I dream too much. Little do they know, all my dreams come true, why stop now.

I love that at any given time in the day, he can be in a different time zone and I can feel him thinking of me at the same time. I love that sometimes we are so in sync that I will get a message from him at that exact moment. I love that everyday we make it further than I thought we would.

I love that the people who care about you the most, your true friends are never on schedule but always on time. I appreciate that as you get older you get a real sense of the definition of a “friend”. I love that I can do my part in saving the kids, although I can’t save all the kids, it makes me feel good to know that I can make a difference.

There is something to be said about the wisdom and maturity you gain as you get older. I like those moments where you realize that you are seeing things with a brand new set of eyes. Those moments that are almost out of body where you look at yourself and go “AHA ! This is what I have been missing all along”. Those moments where you can feel that you have grown because you appreciate and value things differently in your life.

I love these moments, the simple moments, the simple things. The moments that mean so much, yet seem to happen so effortlessly. I want more of these moments, I want them to last. Take a moment to see the beauty in the simple things.
