I love getting emails that put me on to new stuff, especially when they are new shoe designers.
I present to you Liam Fahy, the winner of the first Fashion Fringe accessories. Liam Fahy the protégé to Rupert Sanderson (British Fashion Council winner) has launched his debut luxury ladies shoe collection in Paris and London. These are some of the wonderful heels featured in his Spring Summer 11 collection. This collection will be limited edition, featuring only 500 pairs and will be available for sale next May online at www.liamfahy.com only ! So if you dig the shoes, head on over there to place an order.
Selected by Colin Mc Dowell and Manolo Blahnik as the protégé of Rupert Sanderson, African born, London based Liam Fahy has spent the past few years refining his design talent in the Emiglia Romagna and Marche provinces of Italy alongside veteran artisans of the luxury trade.
The collection is made of the finest, most expensive satins, pythons and vernice in Italy, whilst the soles are painstakingly hand crafted with individual silver characters as is the signature of Liam Fahy. No heels are less than 120mm high and all hand crafted by the finest artisans in the Civitanova Marché region of Italy, home to the finest Italian factories.
The range is inspired by pure elegance with low cut lines and sexy silhouettes whilst the fixtures are constructed in traditional silversmith techniques inspired by 13th century armor and jewelery.
