When I hear the name Mila Victoria, two words come to mind: HELLO NURSE! This rare gem is the stuff dreams are made of: incredibly talented, well-connected, kindhearted, and drop dead gorgeous to boot! Her ability to translate her creative vision into beautiful photography makes her one of the most coveted MUA/Photographers in Toronto, and anyone that has had the opportunity to work with her knows that being in Mila’s presence is always an extreme pleasure.
Getting ready for a new chapter in her career (UK here she comes!), Mila will be truly missed. Nonetheless, we’ll be sure to cheer her on – all the way to the top. Read more on our BHD Woman below:
Name… Mila Victoria by Day. Miel by Night (or weekends). Get your mind outta the gutter. #Meow
Passion… Spreading colour and love to every heart that let’s me in.
9 to 5… Freelance makeup & hair artist 365 days of the year and such.
Shameless plug… Hmm, London’s calling (United Kingdom). Holler at yer girl. I’ll be based there for a couple years (or longer if you let me).
Favourite heel… Don’t have a particular one. As long as it inspires to empower me and my hips. I learned from the best, Beyonce!
I overcome a ¨broken heel¨ by…. Having a good cry. Then, try to understand how it became “broken” in the first place so hopefully it doesn’t happen again… and again.
I confess I am… a shopaholic. I’m in serious denial. Help?
If I had one wish… I wish for everyone to be open-minded.
Beauty is… Confidence. Having a solid sense of one’s self and a good hand shake.
I absolutely love… Positive energy. It’s contagious and helps inspire people to feel and be unstoppable.
My role model is… My Mom. I don’t know anyone else who could do what she did all on her own. One of the many things she has taught my family is to be the one giving help, rather than needing it. We all need that extra hand, but if you are fortunate enough to be able to give, then give.
I want to be remembered for… How I made you feel. (hopefully, it’s something good). *angel face*
You make a difference by… Making a difference with yourself. Change you for the better. Everything else will follow.
Last words… But this isn’t my last! I’ll let you know when it is
