As is evident in the photos, Lauren Bagliore’s pieces are very minimalistic, consisting of a colour palette of black, white, and gray.  The fabric is a light jersey knit, which hung beautifully on the body.

There’s a big emphasis on layering the knit over itself – the fabric clings to the body by being wrapped around and around. The knit pieces, all a solid colour but she mixes both black and white by draping the two different colours on top of each other.

I enjoyed her use of  a pinstripe fabric for jackets, pants, and a fitted dress. The garments are perfect to wear during the day, and could be easily dressed up for a night out in the town.
