Raymi the Minx.com is 11 years old today and we couldn’t be more over-the-moon happy that she is our BHD Woman. She is the quintessential voice of the Toronto social media generation. Her history-in-the-making blog is a multitude of photos combined with the lyrical stylings that ONLY Raymi could write. No holds bar. Take it or leave it. Love it or hate it, you have to respect it. I love Raymi’s blog for the sheer brilliance in her (sometimes I need help to decode) writing and especially coining new words and phrases that can only be thought of by a girl with such cool-madness I would pay to take a vacation in her head. Is that weird? Maybe. Never read the Minx before? Now that’s hard to believe. Happy Birthday to Raymi’s dad today, too!

If I had one wish… Tropical blue waters as far as the eyes could see in lieu of the burger king parking lot view.
Beauty is… Cate Blanchett. Classic. Royalty. Status. Inner beauty, deep, graceful. Touching. Artistic. Silk, cream, pearls, swans, soft forest floors, moss, sunbeams in dew etc.
I absolutely love… Adrenaline. Adventure. Enchantment. Fantasy, theatre, dramatic people, wine, candlelight, autumn, summer, photographing my life, buying people presents. Writing. That is my fondest love of all. I love people too, a great deal.
My role model is… Both my parents, artists, Kerouac, Lennon, friends of mine.
I want to be remembered for… Dying happy. Satisfied by my life and achievements. Getting to that thatched roof cottage in Ireland.
You make a difference by… Doing it everyday for eleven years and never once ever giving up, no matter how bad it got and dark the hour, I am not finished yet.
Last words… Oh boy. Uh, do what makes you be happy. You be you, capture it, sell it, attain it, be it. You can do it. Being lazy is cheating on yourself. The Russian Nightmare who personal trained me a few times said that to me once. He is right. Live and love your lives.
