I was shopping around with a couple of girlfriends last week when I came across the E. Coudray products at PIR Cosmetics. Being the beauty lover that I am, I started to pick these products up and smell them. To my surprise I was quickly captivated by the Jacinthe Rose line. I am not usually a “floral” kind of girl but this was no ordinary product. The scent goes far beyond the typical rose you find in most perfumes. The top note is a mixture of peach and hiacynth, middle notes are a unique blend of jasmine, peony and rose, but the perfume is tied together with vanilla, vetiver, sandalwood and cedar. The scent is a perfect holiday gift; sexy floral, warming vanilla and spicy vetiver captures the essence of the winter season.

I’d also recommend the Esperys scent by E. Coudray. It’s a perfect combination of the woody, spicy and sweet tones. The top note is made with pink pepper, green leaves and calabrian bergamot. The middle notes are composed of patchouli, freesia, damask rose and caramel. To top it all off, the scent is harmonized with a tonka bean, precious woods, bourbon vanilla and white musk.

Since I am a shopaholic and love trying new things, I actually bought 3 products to make sure I smelled great for my work’s Christmas party. For my own personalized scent, I chose to layer both the Jacinth Rose and Esperys. To me, these scents complement each other and will have an everlasting effect on anyone walking by.

Lastly, the different notes are very seductive making E.Coudray a must for your perfume wardrobe. I’d be delighted to received these products as a holiday gift, except I don’t need them anymore, because I already have them but there are others – hint, wink, nudge.
