Finally made it to Motor City for NAIAS.  Our lovely friends at GM Canada, who we worked with for our roadtrip to Lollapalooza and the Sonic City Challenge -  invited us to come down. Getting here was a mission and a half and I almost had a breakdown when they told me that I was about to miss my flight AND that it was the last once scheduled for the day.  I had to part with my nailpolish remover and my Biotherm face wash. Alas, with 15 minutes left, heels on, across the airport to make it.

The irony of it all is: we were delayed an hour.

In Detroit, we were picked up by a driver (in a GM vehicle, of course). The Chevrolet Traverse and I reunited, oh the good times we had in Chicago for Lollapalooza. It was pretty cool was seeing the different cars from different companies waiting to pick up press arriving for the autoshow.

I was really bummed that I missed the Cadillac Press Conference and media reception at the College for Creative Studies. I would have loved to see it for myself, I have dreams of rolling in a Cadillac.  Here is what I was able to see of it from twitter:
