Acqua Di Gioia Essenza Review & Contest

I have fallen into perfume heaven and I can’t get up! But I’m not mad at all. Maybe I can achieve my dream of having a fragrance for every day of the month?

The latest addition to my collection is “Acqua Di Gioia Essenza” by Giorgio Armani. Is there anything better than a scent that makes you feel like a million bucks while still feeling sensual and sophisticated with every spritz? A twist on the original Acqua Di Gioia scent, Essenza is a bit more intense, feminine and luxurious!

The fresh scent comes from a mix of mint leaves, first bloom lemons and a touch of pink pepper. Another noticeable trait to the scent is jasmine absolute and water jasmine, adding the undeniable sensuality of Acqua Di Gioia Essenza. On the inhale, I could smell a richness at its base, but could not put my finger on what it was. To my revelation I found out that the mysterious scents were cashmere woods, brown sugar and cedar woods. Imagine that.

I’ve become so fascinated with the harmony of scents. Kuddos to the perfumist who comes up with the final ingredients.

What really drives my obsession with perfumes, other than the aroma is the bottle. I love to see how the flask represents the fragrance and figuring out if it does justice to the scent. What do you think about it?

BHD Rantings – Celebrity break-ups

I know what you’re thinking: is BHD REALLY covering Celebrity breakups? Not quite, we haven’t gone full-blown gossip blog yet.

Being a celebrity is hard: paparazzi stalking your every move, your personal business being out there before you can even blink. It seems like the more time goes by the more celebrity obsessed our culture is.

I plead the fifth, I cared to know that Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp split, or did they? I too watched KKTNY and felt awful for Kris Humphrey.

Can you imagine having every aspect of your relationship under a microscope to then having your breakup made public for the world? Some of the breakups we feel more sorry for than others but overall, I feel bad that they have to live out such a private part of their lives with the world.

I digress, here’s to everyone finding love in 2012 and being happy.

We work with them to refine that idea, identify the problem they’re trying to solve and figure out what unique value they can offer. We then design and build their product through our collaborative process until it’s ready to live out there in the real world.

I started Playground because I couldn’t get a job during the 2009 recession. I stayed because I want to make a difference in the future of Canada’s tech industry.

I’ve been talking about Mara Hruby for a while now, and putting some of my friends on to her music. She put out a free album in 2010 called From Her Eyes. While I normally don’t enjoy when artist do covers of classics, she did them justice. Check out her new video for “Is This Love” her cover of the Bob Marley track.
