Sometimes you can be so used to looking at the same things, over and over again that you fail to see the blessing, or you fail to see them manifesting in your life. I had that moment last week, where I noticed that I was so caught looking at things from the same perspective – that I almost didn’t notice that they things I said I wanted were slowly happening. They were coming to fruition. How did I manage to see them differently- change of perspective.

I came to see how integral that is to growth and progression. If you don’t change your perspective, you will miss the bigger picture, and likely miss the signs along the way. I remembered this morning that I had written a post about 8 months ago, putting out into the universe the things I wanted the most. I was so busy going through the same motions – I didn’t see that I was slowly getting what I had asked for.

This post is to remind you that if you want something and put it forth into the universe; you can and will get it. The problem comes when you are too consumed in your everyday life to remember what you wanted in the first place. Don’t be so busy that you miss the blessings, or the manifestation of your goals and dreams. Take a step back, look at things from a different perspective and pay attention to the little things. I bet once you do, you will notice that things are working in order to make room for the things you want.

Part of my old post below:

1- Quit my job and work for myself

2-Travel the world while working for myself from my laptop

3- Have a family

4- Save the kids

5- Publish a book

I have never summarized all I wanted to do in such brief points. I was proud of myself because even I now could see more clearly exactly what I wanted. I was actually shocked because I had never mentioned to anyone this is what I wanted, I don’t think I had ever admitted it to myself. These are the things I want in the deepest of my heart, and I feel would make me the happiest. Sometimes when you take out all the extra stuff, you get to what really matters, what you really want. I am pretty sure I can sell this now, since it isn’t filled with unnecessary information. This in its truest, most simplest form is what I want. Sometimes we get lost in all the extras.

Try it, what do you want? Summarize it simply, without additional descriptions, long sentences and punctuations. What do you want for yourself?

Take full responsibility for what you’ve done and for where you are. Then take full responsibility and make the commitment to fulfill your most valuable and treasured possibilities.
What do you need as a safety net to pursue your dreams?

Someone asked me that question last week, and I was dumbfound unable to answer. The question can up after he asked “What is stopping you from living your dreams? What would you need to pursue your dreams? What’s your safety net?”

Then I thought, GOOD QUESTION? What is my safety net, what do I need to feel secure before I make that jump? Have you ever thought about this? Are you doing what you can to build your safety net so that you can live your dreams to their full extent?

Off the top I think my safety net is enough income to cover my basics, that would give me enough confidence that I could leave my job and follow my true calling.

What is your safety net? Do you think its attainable? Are you working towards it?

I was inspired by a complete stranger this weekend. We were talking about our goals, and dreams. I told him about mine and he asked me “Why aren’t you living your goals right now?” I didn’t have an answer. Then he said “If you think that your dream is going to come knocking at your door to find you, you are wrong. You need to go out there and get what you want. Make it happen ! ” As obvious as that sounds, clearly I was not waiting for my goals, and dreams to come knocking. However, what he said in those 5 minutes I met him really inspired me, as I was left thinking. I am not actively doing anything with this end goal of mine. I am not doing as much as I can to get closer, especially knowing that I want this with all my heart.

Thank you for those words in that brief conversation. You ignited my spark to go out there, and make it happen. You will never know.

Has a stranger ever inspired you? How did it happen? What did they tell you to make you feel inspired?

"Courage allows the successful woman to fail..." Dr. Maya Angelou

Courage allows the successful woman to fail- and learn powerful lessons-from the failure- so that in the end, she didn’t fail at all.
- Maya Angelou

When chasing your dreams, I have learned the most important lesson EARLY ! You cannot be afraid of failure. I struggled with this a lot as I was so afraid to fail that I made myself anxious with the thought of failing. Somehow, I associated failing with negativity. With time, I came to learn that failure is only negative if you look at it that way. When you muster up the courage to undertake something, you have to be willing to fail, if only to learn from it and get back up again. It’s inevitable. Failure can be very positive if you chose to see it in that light. With every failure, there is a lesson to be learned. There is an opportunity to grow and to improve. Just like Dr. Maya Angelou demonstrates in this quote, if you learn to see your failures as an opportunity to grow, then you have never failed.

Very great quote !!!
