People will talk despite your useless attempts to accommodate to the wishes of others. Your clothes, friendships, career moves (or lack thereof), and everything in between is up for discussion.

Those who love you will take the time to ask and understand without judgment, even if they don’t agree with you. Those who don’t know you are strangers – they can stare at your faults and moves but they’ll never find you.

Faults we all have, but friends can see beyond them. Continue to explore and be happy.

Last night I was speaking to a friend of mine, who shared these words with me and I thought -WOW That is easy. If I just lived by this quote everyday I would be ok. Why do we spend time worrying about things we can’t control?! That quote really puts things into perspective for me, and I will surely start to apply it in my life. Can’t wait to see it work ! I felt better just hearing that.

I like this quote a lot! In my past and for a long time, I thought I needed certain people to be a part of my life. Whether for validation, comfort or simply for companionship. I always believed I needed them. Truth is, sometimes I held on to some people that didn’t appreciate me the same way I appreciated them. What a waste of time. I would think that it was something to do with me. Regardless of the reason, the point is this: there is no need to wonder. If you are ever in a situation where you give your all and receive nothing in return: KEEP IT MOVING! Seriously, as the quote says - you don’t need anyone who doesn’t need you. Find people that are more valuable of your time and more appreciative of you. Anything else, is a waste of time. SIMPLE! The End.

When I read this, I agreed right away and felt a sense of calm take over me. It’s that simple. How can you have something else if you aren’t even grateful for you what you already have? If we constantly project, and say to others that we have ended up with the bad deal, then perhaps we should think of those who have nothing. Often we complain about things that aren’t that bad at all. Not realizing, that it could always be worse. Be thankful for what you have, before wanting what you don’t have.
